History of The Family Crisis Center

The Family Crisis Center was established in 1978 when a group of concerned citizens recognized the need for safe shelter and services for victims of intimate partner violence. Since then, the FCC has assisted tens-of-thousands of victims to find safety and resources to live violence free. The FCC no longer operates a shelter, but we do provide safe housing in scattered sites throughout our service area.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Family Crisis Center is to promote a culture of non-violence and social justice through the empowerment of all those impacted by domestic violence.

The Family Crisis Center is here for you.

You do not have to live in fear. There is help.

If your partner wants to change we can assist them in finding help too.
