History of The Family Crisis Center
The Family Crisis Center was established in 1978 when a group of concerned citizens recognized the need for safe shelter and services for victims of intimate partner violence. Since then, the FCC has assisted tens-of-thousands of victims to find safety and resources to live violence free. The FCC no longer operates a shelter, but we do provide safe housing in scattered sites throughout our service area.
